THE PENINSULA
Carbon was approached by The Peninsula with the objective of developing a social media campaign that would showcase the unparalleled luxury and sophistication of their hotel experience. Our visual direction for this campaign centred around highlighting the consistency in guest experiences and The Peninsula's exceptional ability to create special and memorable moments across continents.
Interested in showcasing 5 of their hotels in cities around the world (Tokyo, Shanghai, Bangkok, Beverly Hills and Manila), we teamed up with 5 influencers, 1 in each city to shoot the campaign.
We approached the project with a modular mindset, breaking down the key experiences at the Peninsula, and came up with 5 categories to focus on — destinations around the Peninsula, fun transportation services offered by the hotels, their one-of-a-kind swimming pools, the stunningly luxurious suites and their exclusive restaurants. Utilising fun and interactive camera transitions, this allowed us to be able to shuffle clips around and create more videos for different audiences. In total, we delivered 11 videos for the Peninsula to use across their various social media accounts.
